The majority of health insurance policies offer money back on consultations with GPs, however this depends on insurance company and policy. We would advise all patients to review their insurance policy prior to attending appointments.
There is tax relief for all doctor appointments. You can add your receipt when filling out your tax return form. Please visit revenue.ie for further information.
Health insurance providers will ask for receipts for attendance. After each appointment, your invoice (receipt) will be available via your patient portal.
